Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple

Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple is located on the banks of the Kharun River, 5 km from Raipur city of Chhattisgarh state. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the main Hindu pilgrimage sites.

In 1402, Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple was constructed by Hajiraj Naik, during the rule of Brahmadeo Rai, son of Kalchuri Raja Ramchandra. Equipped with fine etching, this magnificent temple is built on the looks of the interior and outer chambers.

Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the famous temples of Chhattisgarh. In this temple, thousands of pilgrims come here every year from every corner of the country to see Lord Shiva – ‘Hatkeshwar Mahadev’, to pray, pray and get desired results.
